They did no such thing. I can comprehend English just fine. That statement is pretty clear...
You can't say it means you get more in one run either. It's still 40 in a single run.

it was a bad translation
there's a patch notes on the euro forum where it reads more like "locations you can acquire mythology will be increased as well as amounts in some locations"
as in Wanderer's was added as a location and garuda and titan got their amounts increased
Vague yes, wrong? no.
You "acquire" more in Garuda and Titan.
Do you get more Philosophy from Amdapor Keep and Wanderer's Palace? Yes.The number of areas where you can acquire Allagan Tomestones of Philosophy and Mythology will be increased as well as the amount you can acquire.
Do you get more Mythology from Wanderer's Palace, Garuda and Titan? Yes.
Did they specifically state Amdapor Keep would drop more Mythology? Nope.
Allow me to post the full quote and debunk this. The full quote as from the vague hotfix idea post is as follows
"The number of areas where you can acquire Allagan Tomestones of Philosophy and Mythology will be increased as well as the amount you can acquire."
Now refer over to the full patch notes which I'll link out of the kindness of my heart

It mentions the AK Philos going from 80 to 100 and WPs going to 100 philos and 30 myth when apparently it didn't have myth before while Garuda and titan HM got very small boost to their amount of Mythology. they did EXACTLY what they said you can acquire more philos from AK and WP now and more myth from Garuda WP and Titan though the primals are likely kinda skip overable unless you enjoy slow farming. A lot of people got hyped hoping they raised the Myth cap but the fact is they never said they would and DID do exactly what they said just not to the satisfaction of the people that want I90 gear faster apparently.

They knew exactly what they were doing when they made this statement. It was worded to create hype and interest, it was bait and some of us fell for it. It isnt the first time, which brings me back to a particularly favorite saying.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

no it is called a bad translation, happens all the time, everywhere -.-
They do this a lot in marketing too. Kind of like "You can get up to 1 million dollars!" And they give you 1 dollar sort of thing. :3 It says UP TO. Haha yeah.. I have marketing class..
If the person who was giving it to us was Japanese and he was attempting to translate it himself into the English language, I would be forgiving and understanding of 'bad translation' excuses. However, if Gildrein is not Japanese, and is very much pure blooded American and he had questions regarding the validity of the translation, then he should be the one to cross check it with the original and with it verified then give it to his customers.
So basically, bad translations do not work in this.
Edit: Amended slightly because I do not know the specifics of that particular Rep.

However you interpret what they said, they did what they were going to do. What do you want? A cookie?
