Armoire or Retainer storage?

Nope, the only armor that'll go into your Armoire is your job specific stuff (i.e. paladin armor gained from job quests, maybe the AF2? (don't have any of this to try it yet)) and some of the event gear like the summer swimsuits.

Ah! I see. So anything dropped from the world or crafted cannot not be placed in the Armoire. Only items gained from special events like Christmas event or a quest can be placed in it. I think I understand now.

I'm still only level 21, but so far the only things I've found that the armoire can store are some of the swimsuit outfits from the festival, and not even all of those. (I was hoping that the unique untradable outfits from class quests would be storable there, but they aren't.)

Thanks everyone. As long as the items in the armoire remain there permanently, I'll try different things.
