If you're not too concerned about the content of the dungeons you can check the "join in progress" box. There's no real quest CSs in the early dungeons so you aren't missing much.

You are basically trying to match 100 DPS to 1 Tank and 1 Healer. Thank goodness I have a tank friend, we que into dungeons within seconds every time.

Luckily in my server there have been people waiting around the dungeon areas. We had to run around to try to find a healer and a tank earlier today, but as an Arcanist I ended up serving as the primary healer. It worked out ok. I have seen people "shouting" in the towns and villages near the dungeons which also appears to work, and its better than seeing the Gil spammers!![]()

the problem is not his DPS class, but at this point , low level story dungeons are already deserted
the game's been out for 2 months, and the majority of players are already at endgame or on their 30-50 (casuals)
in open world, low level players are still scattered everywhere, but they rarely do low level dungeons, FATE is the way to go
we need new players to do story dungeons, not people who are leveling their sub classes

Or find a way to make dungeons at any levels more rewarding. That way, even if an older player re-rolls a character, they can still play older dungeons. As they queue, it increases the pool of potential teammates. This also extends to other worlds in the same region, seeing as DF is cross-server.the problem is not his DPS class, but at this point , low level story dungeons are already deserted

I have a Lv50 Paladin, and am training up a Thaumaturge myself, but the ridiculous queue times for Sastasha/Tam-tara/Copperbell really makes me wonder why I decided to train a DPS, as I'm a dungeon person.
A good Free Company can be a huge help here. Or if they're not available and you're going to go with the Duty Finder alone, find something else to do while you wait.
As Dekinosai mentioned, you can do some crafting. Or there are other possibilities as well. I finished off several entries in my hunting log while waiting for Sastasha and joined the Conjurer's guild and started leveling that class while waiting for Tam Tara (as an archer). Just be sure that whatever you're filling the time with is something that you can quickly break off from (and if necessary quickly change back to your main class) once the Duty Finder notification pops up saying a group is available. It doesn't give you a lot of time in which to acknowledge that notification and port to the dungeon.

SE is going to implement some things to try to get the tanks and healers to go back and rerun things again. I believe there are 2 programs they are working on.
There is also some random daily dungeon thingie but I forgot where I read about it."MVP" System
Greetings, everyone!
I'd like to give a brief official overview of the "MVP" system that was announced by Yoshida during TGS, as there is a lot of interest in how this will encourage players to be positive and helpful when using the Duty Finder.
This system is for groups that get matched in the Duty Finder and cannot be used when you pre-make parties to enter dungeons and other content. Once you clear the content, you'll be able to vote for a player you feel was helpful, positive, and friendly.
Accumulating these points will allow you to buy companion armor, new mounts, and other exclusive items.
This system is scheduled to be implemented in patch 2.1, and once further details have been finalized we will be sure to share them with you!

I just got in after waiting 28 minutes in que as a tank. Once I zoned in, there was only 1 DPS in there with 12 minutes left on the clock. No one entered the dungeon in those 12 minutes. Seriously, these are becoming obsolete because people can grind fates for two hours and get to 25. This is a pretty horrible design for new players that are working on their main story. How disheartening.
