AF2 for monk what to buy?

Well I'm starting to run coil and it seem the only thing that won't be replace by coil gear is the Head is the rest really worth the buy?

well, according to this http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ut-Loot-Tables the chest part doesn't seem to drop in turns 1-4, and i don't know if you can finish turn 5. so it might be worth it to buy the myth chest until you can get the allagan chest.

Chest, legs, and boots. The rest should be Allagan other than your Relic +1.

Chest definitely, if only because the monk robes look amazing and are so elegant.

I got af2 chest even before relic+1 lol and I would argue it was worth it. Get chest first though out of your af2 pieces.

You have a few options. First you need to pick if you want to rush BiS or if you just want to get full i90s asap. Then for BiS you need to decide if you value SS, Det, or Crit. Everyone seems to have a different opinion.

im also wondering if i go for my +1 or the chest....i see many ppl saying chest is better then getting+1....

For me we were on turn 4 when I had to decide between the two. The damage Melee takes in that event is substantial when your gear is lower, pure dps was not an issue but healers having to heal me more was. I was going to get much more survival out of chest than relic+1.

I personally went Relic +1 then chest. I'm not sure what is next yet. Possibly boots.
