yeh this error pretty much called it an early night for our coil group, perhaps it will be fixed "soon"

Had this too yesterday during an Ifrit run. But just once.
Full party got this one after the other during Titan HM yesterday. We eventually had to close the game and relog to prevent it from happening again (before the server kicks me, I kick myself!)
Happened to my fiancee while watching a Main Scenario cutscene too, so it's not restricted to Duty Finder..
Happening to everyone, and once again SE are quick off the mark to fix it... oh wait.
Well, at least they have acknowledged that they know it's happening, and they are working on a fix... oh no, wait again.
Common Sense is a language most misunderstood on the continent of the MMOForum
Yep had it myself twice
[EU] Issue With Account Authentication Error Message (Oct. 16)
Since the 2.05 Hot Fixes patch implemented on Oct. 15, 2013, we have confirmed an issue in which, during gameplay, players may see the “90000 Error” or “Square Enix Account Authentication Error” message displayed, and be disconnected from the server.
Investigation is currently underway, and we anticipate the implementation of a fix in the very near future. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank for your patience and understanding.
Additionally, since the “Square Enix Account Authentication Error” message is one that is displayed when an account’s contract period has expired, if your account contract period has not yet expired it will be possible for you to log in again once you restart the game.

nothing to do with that, that only kicks in if your hasnt moved for a period of time, up until few days ago I could stay logged in for 8+ hours wit no issues. This is a major server problem that seems to be getting more regular.
I think you're confused. I'm not talking about auto-logout. SE pretty much confirmed that it is in fact your session ID expiring that gives you the authentication error message. Although it doesn't seem that the expiration of the session ID is what's kicking people off, which was just my guess.
Got me a fright as well, but for different reasons
Unlikely, all characters with my name belong to me; one on Hyperion, one on Ragnarok.
I can confirm the timespan, it's about 4 hours.
That's how it looks to me as well

I always wondered, do they have a number limit or why can't they have a separate "Your subscription period has ended" error message?Additionally, since the “Square Enix Account Authentication Error” message is one that is displayed when an account’s contract period has expired, if your account contract period has not yet expired it will be possible for you to log in again once you restart the game.

Received a 90K boot twice yesterday. Both times were during WP runs. They were 4-5 hours apart.

It's happened to me like 4-5 times since downloading the patch yesterday. I wasn't doing anything that important so it was no biggie, just a little annoying ^^.
