    This is still a major issue for me. During Beta and the first month of play, no issues. Since then, when I actually began to pay monthly for this game, I have experienced dozens of disconnects that appear randomly and out of the blue - no warning beforehand with no lack of response from the game (I still can attack enemies, chat with other players, craft normally, etc). I do experience latency and lag from time to time, but that is almost expected in heavier traffic areas.

    There seems to be no solution offered or, at the very least, less of these disconnects. This needs to be fixed.

    I had 4 90000 errors over the past 4 hours...

    edit: I can't resolve any host. So it's my ISP(Rogers), not SE.

    Update: I fixed my issue. Turns out to be my Modem/Router.

    I had not disconnected for over two hours, which is a relatively decent time frame for me, so I decided to run WP with some friends. I made it to the first tonberrys before disconnecting. Then I DC'd again against the birds. And a third time after the Goobue boss. Then a fifth after I tried to come back. Now I can't log in, since my character is "still logged in". It's been ten minutes. I guess that's my night?

    I only post again so soon, because today was insane, and because I sent a request for help on the website. I received no response yet. I really want an explanation or at least some more advice on how to solve this issue because it is completely unenjoyable to play this game like this and I am more of a liability in dungeons now.

    The latest maintenance did nothing for this issue. I contacted Square about this, and received the standard boiler plate response about common connection issues and their solutions that can be found on their website. I had already attempted all these fixes. Still, I decided to turn off the router for 30 minutes, change some cables, re-check all drivers, update anything and everything that could be updated.

    I continue to disconnect without warning, resulting in a 90000 error. Anywhere, anytime in the game. I am now 99.9% sure it is not a problem on my end. Everything else but this game works well and continues to stay connected. If anyone has any solutions or known compatibility issues with this game, please let me know. I really would like to figure this out.

    I cannot speak to NPCs or perform any actions without a disconnect, so it may be an issue with me sending information to the server. So, I re-tried updating the firmware and turned off the router for 30mins. I allowed the TCP ports for FFXIV.

    I logged in five minutes ago and upon talking to an NPC, I disconnected. That is now everything I can do, short of buying a new router, which is relatively new and functioning flawlessly for everything else besides FFXIV. I'm afraid to buy a new router, because it doesn't seem to be an issue and I don't want to spend any more money on this game, of which I have already paid the initial cost and six months (stupid me).

    So, I'm at a loss. I sent a second request for help to Square on Friday last week, still waiting on a response, probably today or tomorrow. I'll update when I get the new response. I hope to actually solve this, whatever the problem is, so I can help others and play this game that I like a whole lot.

    So, I continue to struggle selling anything to/interacting with NPCs. It's almost a given if I interact with an NPC that I disconnect. I also run the risk if I perform any actions, such as attacking, crafting, or typing. So, quite honestly, this game has me afraid of doing anything but standing still. I left the game on for 30 mins, only moving slightly forward to see if I just couldn't keep a connection or if it was just actions that were booting me. I remained connected flawlessly while standing still.

    Square has provided me with no answers and, quite frankly, very pathetic attention to my requests for help. I'm starting to lose patience. I love this game, but I still cannot play it.
