Random 90K since patch

Thanks for the heads up guys/gals. I can deal with errors, but i can't deal with errors that freeze up my ps3 so i have to shut it down manually. And get the 3 beeps which means bad things for my systems HDD. I highly doubt SE would refund anything if my system broke because of their problem. So... I guess more time off FFXIV and more time leveling up on GTA Online.

The development team is aware of the 90000 error and authentication errors that you all have been experiencing, and they are currently investigating the issue.

In case you haven’t seen yet, we posted an announcement on Lodestone news about the current status. We’ll be sure to keep you informed of any developments.

If you'll notice, this post is cleverly worded so that it says nothing about the then imminent emergency maintenance. Not sure if this is a failure to communicate on their part or a failure to understand on our part, but in no way did Camate promise they were going to fix it last night.

Near futire?

Heres an idea, take the servers down altogether instead of leaving them open at least until you have fixed the issue... Oh wait, you wont do that because then you would have no option but to refund us the downtime! So instead we get fobbed off with a fix in the "near future" knowing that the game is pretty much unplayable, and you wont have to refund any of us because the service was still running. Very sly act indeed.

I for one will never be buying anything to do with se again! Poor service, worse support... This game is gunna end up an epic fail.

Because the game is still playable. The issue is annoying that's for sure but it is in no way to the point you can't even load up the game - that is when you get refunds for an mmo you're paying for, when it can be loaded up the servers remain offline (aka closed down.)

Which is why I said the reason why they wont take the servers down. The game is unplayable, high lvl instances and high level crafting are a no go, and right now thats what end game content is, unless your 1 of those that like to stand around chatting. I aint paying subs for a social network.

As for 2hour maint, give your head a wobble, this issue has been going on for weeks, only worse since patch as it now effects most users, only today have se acknowledged it. I know theresajlot of se fanbois out there, personally I dnt care who the devs are but I expect a service im paying for, this game was not ready for release and now we paying the price literally to be beta testers.

We ran Coil yesterday once again and there is nothing more frustrating than having randomly people getting this Error while being in Coil... esp if it is one of the Tanks or Healers. It pretty much "fuc*ed" up every attempt at the most bad times... so this is something which needs to get fixed...yesterday.. not investigating further, not looking into it, not fixing it in 2.1.. this has to be fixed ..yesterday. I do understand that investigation is needed and that takes some time to actual find the source of the problem and then fixing it, but yeah.. it is frustrating right now.

I am usually patient, but if there is something like this, which does affect almost every member in the party every 15-20 minutes it makes content unplayable. I appreciate the information regarding the issue tho.

Add me to the list of those getting random 90k errors since the patch (3-4 times roughly), as well as a number of people in my FC. Haven't logged in since the maintenance last night so maybe that is what they were addressing.

Had the 90K and Authentication Failed error happen to me last night while I was running AV.
It has happened to one of my FC members several times since patch as well.
