This is not a bug and yes, I had abandoned the quest, but did not know the consequence. I had put in a ticket in game but I was told to post here.

I was at the point to battle hydra in my relic quest. I got to the person in front of Halatali and it gave me the Duty and asked to proceed or not. I thought this was a side thing before hydra and to my surprise I was in the hydra battle. There was no way to get out so I thought abandoning the quest would kick me out and then I could get it back. I was wrong. So I have the unfinished Gae Bolg in my Armory but no quest for it.

It is making me start the quest over again which is not possible especially the materia I need more than doubled in price. If you are not able to add the quest back. I would say give me the material that I need (Champion's Lance and 2 Savage Aim Materia 3) in exchange for the unfinished Gae Bolg I have, I will gladly start the quest over. This method will not hurt the economy in any way since I had already purchased these items before.

If this is in the wrong place, I can move it to the appropriate spot.
