You guys on PC could try similar. Choose the "log out" only then just try quit the game however you want. Window mode could just try " red X " in corner or whatever Or try kill it with task manager , ESC etc..

Hope they fix soon though..
It doesn't always work,

The game is getting stuck in an internal thread that won't terminate and allow the game to exit gracefully.
