If SE thinks they can blow it off by just saying, "the problem is on your side", then they got another thing coming.

I posted not too long ago about not being able to play from Oct 25th to Oct 27th, due the 90k errors upon logging in and the lag that lowers my send/receive to zero (0) then spiking up to 5-8k ms, and I know it's not my ISP/routers, because I've tested my speed and it's fine, I've tested my lag on other games to see if I would be getting any issues with staying connected to their servers or causing lag but...so ~shocking~ they ran fine, it's only Final Fantasy 14 : ARR that is causing problems.

Far more dissapointing is that I was hoping this last maintenance from Oct 27th to Oct 28th, would have addressed this problem, but no this issues still lingers and still having the same problem, 90k error then running around with a red connection sign by my characters name up until I have to force quit the game because the lag is so bad, just by trying "Exit Game" doesn't work.

90k 4 times in 20 minutes. Lag so terrible I can't even move my character. Why is it taking so long to get any definitive explanation / fix?

Speeds test fine. Should certain ports be opened? If this is a client / isp side issue then how do we go about fixing it? ANSWERS!!!!

This is the first time I am experiencing this since starting the game two weeks ago. Tested my connection and tried other games with no issues.

What seemed to fix my 90k was:

i went onto my router 192.168.0.1 (yours may vary)

found where it said "Network Address Server Settings (DHCP)"

and changed the "lease time" to 9999 minutes and haven't had an issue since

that may help but who knows for everyone

Hi Solo i just did what u said and hopefully it works for me as well since tonight at 10pm EST... nvm i just got error 90k again.. ive had like 5 within the last 30 mins as well..
I havent played the game in a week i would like to enjoy my night D:

I also got 9000 at least 10 times last night in AK, Coil and crafting. Its started after update and is unacceptable

7 times today in 8h after the recovery, and I almost to never get 90k before

Well, since my thread got moved and I was told to post here again despite having already posted in it/followed any possible advice thats popped up in here - Just posting to say I'm still getting the 90k & 5-10s lag spikes after the maintenance and have had six within two hours.
