Well it seems to stop for some and start for others..
I have never had this error 90000 problem until today.
Logged in 5 minutes ago and while checking my retainer all of a sudden, nothing was working and screen froze.
Then i got a black screen with a message saying Error 90000 and took me back to main screen.
I then logged on again and less than 2 minutes into crafting, again got the same error.
And yet AGAIN for the third time i have just been kicked off the server with the same error 90000.
So never had this problem in the past and now i have had this error THREE times in less than 10 minutes.

I hope this issue will be resolved in this upcoming maintenance because if this is how things are going to be then SE better start worrying about this problem since it seems that there are a ton of people with this !
Good job Square. Problem still isn't fixed. Know what would be nice? An actual response from anyone at SE.
This shit continues I'm going back to WoW. Least there we get answers.

After having one day without the problem, it returned for a few hours and then disappeared again.
So random :/

Guys, only way se will do anything is dont sub, if you renew your sibs, they wont give a crap! Just like they are doing now, but by tje time the next round of subs come in which is around about now se are gunna notice a huge drop in subs maybe hen they will give a toss.
Guessing SE's instance servers are not up to the job. Playing the game is fine, but getting fed up waiting 30 minutes (often longer) for an instance to be reserved, then getting lag of anything up to 30 seconds in game (great when I'm levelling as a healer and the whole party dies then flames me for it!) and then random 90000 server lost errors. Unplayable... and not good enough. I've seen others saying this might an issue from playing within the EU / no EU servers. I don't really care what the reason is. I do care that the issue isn't being tackled, we are literally paying for this service, and that SE are too arrogant to actually recognise and inform of us of progress with this problem. Not good enough!
Edit: just given up after waiting 45 minutes for an instance. Cerberus, ISP TalkTalk... but I don't believe they're the problem.
I am cancelling my subscription now. Thanks SE!

I started experiencing this problem last night.
I was playing in server Bahamut and the Error 90000 kept kicking me out
After several trick I did, I managed to play for like 2 hours
What I did is turning off my modem and then turning on it again. After that, there is no 90000 anymore. I AM NOT SURE IF THIS IS A CURE NOR I AM JUST LUCKY.
But Square, you are paid so you are accountable to fix this SO PLS FIX THIS !!!!![]()
Tried to log into my character today on my laptop on college, keep getting the error on Exodus. I logged out in the Roost which seems to be the source of the problem since I can log into my other character who is not in the Roost. >![]()
Hey guys, I saw a ton of 90k error threads and they each were stopped and the moderator referred us all to this one. Well there are no fixes here unfortunately. Since the maintenance on Friday due to the market place hack, I am no longer able to log into my main character whom I logged out in an inn in Limsa Lominsa. I can log on just fine to the same server with another character so it seems that my main is stuck somehow. Well of course its a long weekend and there is no customer service support for 3 days. And truthfully from what I've heard of customer support, I do not have much confidence they will help. This happened to my buddy at launch where his character just got randomly stuck and they were not able to help him get it back for 3 weeks. In three weeks Everquest Next beta should be out and this game will be a faint memory. Not sure why I'm subbed at all.
EDIT: So I had my buddy log in and everything was fine. He moved me out of the Inn into the lower decks. But I still can not connect to my character. Even though my connection is good and I can connect with other characters.
