Ran into this today myself, all I did was checked/fixed errors on the disk and everything started behaving again. Ran into this once before when I had a forced disconnect and then my client started geting all screwy on me and it seemed to fix it then. Might be worth a shot.

Run chkdsk c: /F from an elevated command prompt (where C: is the drive you want to check), and let it schedule the scan on next boot if it asks about it, reboot. To get to an elevated command prompt, type CMD in your search box. Right click on the shortcut in the results list and select to run as Admin.
