Okay
Every maintenance, it seems the lag gets worse.
Here I am healing a party and 4 seconds after I cast the heal actually registers. People rubberband everywhere. I move from AoE the instant it is cast and run half way round the world and bam still hits.
I tried to contact a GM in game - pointless - your customer care priorities are f'ing hopeless to the point you should be ashamed. I get automated responses telling me I should post here. I post here, posts get ignored. I get an advisor via text chat, useless, they dont do game support apparently and tell me, and I quote 'There should be in game support' - but cannot be more specific. There is no support - period.
Sometimes it has been fine. Prior to maintenance carried out earlier this week between 7 - 9 am gmt everything had been sweet for a few weeks. Since this weeks maintenance everything is useless your end again.
tracert shows no issues - ping shows zero packet loss - my traffic is not subject to ISP filtering. Yet still I feel i am connected to your servers via a wifi hotspot located 50,000 leagues below the sea, inside a metal safe, 400 miles away.
I shall tell you what the problems are huh?
Initially, beta, beautiful. Flawless gaming experience.
Then came early access. Oh noes - the servers cannot cope with capacity people cant log in.
Then came release and many maintenance sessions and we reach a point where we have the same servers, just everyone gets allocated a smaller slice.
THEY ARE RUNNING BEYOND CAPACITY
I feel sorry for Yoshida, because it is quite apparent the money-men at Square want to do things on a pitiful budget, rendering all Yoshida's hard work moot.
Your server infrastructure requires heavy financial investment. No ifs, no buts, no passing the buck blaming anything and everything except the fact you need more clout to provide the community with a gaming resource that atm is so severely lacking.
Think of it like this.
I have a glass of water and I have to share it with 4 people, fine, we can all take a gulp and pass it around.
Now we have 500 people needing to share the same glass of water.
Its fine, we dont need a bigger glass, we will just make everyone have smaller sips from the same regular size glass.
Go back to re-releasing 20 year old titles at premium prices for your mobile customers because its very apparent you don't have a clue how to run an MMO. And that must be true, a RMT spammer told me over and over and over and over.....
Your community needs support otherwise there is no community.
