    How is SMN supposed to get gold on Odin FATE when there is a debuff limit?

    A lot of SMN's damage comes from dots, and from fester which is dependant on self cast dots on the enemy. In the average Odin FATE, by the time I've landed all 3 and hit fester, it often does no damage as all of my dots have already cycled off due to other people attempting the same thing...

    I've been in full PTs for Odin several times now and even in the rare cases where I've had him actually be targetable the entire time, I have not gotten better than bronze.

    How does anyone get gold on Odin or Behemoth when they phase in and out..

    I've been on Behemoth from 100% - 0% and got bronze.

    A bigger concern is how the 30 debuff/DoT limit on a mob will impact 24 man content, but it was discouraging for me on my SMN once I got to 50 and found out I can't get gold on Chimera, DD or any fate that tons of people swarm to. Have to sit there and spam ruin I, ruin II, ruin I, ruin II, ruin I, ruin II.....

    Did him from 100 to 0 % and even tanked him 3/4 of the Fight last Time (got sick of People kiting him for no Reason). Still got Silver...

    Yeah that happens when every one on the server with a 50 shows up to the fight and you're on a Legacy server. I tried Odin once, he nuked the group at the end, and everybody releasing at once crashed the zone. In retrospect, it was hilarious, though frustrating at the time.

    how work it in single enemy FATEs if the summoner switch between all players and heal them, buff them and just let the pet attack?


    But for big FATEs like Odin the best tactic is always the simplest. Be in a party.
