Latency today (10/17/2013) in Titan HM

Yesterday I fought Titan HM on DF, everything with my connection went well, I avoided aoes and healed properly even in the most messed up phases of the fight.
Today, after the update, I log in and try two times to fight Titan and I experience a damn high latency, something like 4-5 seconds! I've been caught in every single Landslide, WotL, bomb rock... I died 7 times in a row in a single fight, and the spells wouldn't take effect. I'd cast the spell without moving, the character would move and the animation appear, but no effect.
I'm on PS3 but I've never seen so much latency.
Is anyone having my same problem or do you think next login it'll be fixed?
I'm worried about any problem that could have occurred during the last update.

You're lucky to not have experienced issues before. I'm holding a 88ms average for my connection to the server, but I still have to move from a skill before the charge bar even hits halfway to casting in order to avoid it in Titan. Which means certain death if Titan ever stacks his shrouds in a small pool, which should still be avoidable by running straight out (which I have yet to be able to do).

I do seem to have more lag in dungeons/Primal fights since the patch, but that may be because of good luck that ive had before.

Yes, I know it's normal to have latency, but being reppelled by the Demon Wall more than 5 seconds after the blow is just too much.
I can't even do Sastasha with that much lag.

Yeah, 3-5 secs latency and freezes are common in this game, there is nothing you can do about it. Still we manage to get to Coil 5 (through pain and suffering), so it's not as bad as it could be, I guess. You just need to overgear content (like ilvl 70 HQs with 5 materia per piece) to overcome this netcoding, so it's doable.

Well, I worked two weeks without lag to manage to have a DL cowl of healing, how many years would I need to get full Vanya gear set overmelded?
I'd easily beat Titan without this lag, the effect of WotL comes at the same moment of the animation! I had to leave Amdapor Keep because it was way too laggy.
I don't think this is normal, I usually have max 1 second of latency and I can live with it, but 5 seconds against Titan is too much.
I hope this'll be fixed.
