Well, I tried to google "2.1", I tried to look for it in social networks in web-news sites, in the Lodestone, on this forum, but I always find controversial information.
I know there'll be PvP in Wolve's Den, and Hard Mode Dungeon and Extreme Mode primals and the Crystal Tower, but someone talked about Gilgamesh, someone about new tomes system...
Can someone please link me any site with a COMPLETE description of the 2.1 patch? Was the release date announced?

As far as I know we have only gotten a few interviews and vague teasers, they can be found on the main FFXIV website, not sure if anyone has combined these into an easy to read page yet.

Outside of the vagueness you will find in the producer letters or short videos you will be getting nothing more unless this next letter coming up this weekend says anything worth mentioning(like a release date). For a patch that honestly is needing to come out in the next month for them to retain any mentionable numbers from what little they keep saying it's sounding more and more like it's still months away.

SE will never communicate exact changes or dates prior to release for one simple reason: It does nothing but set them up for failure.

What good does it do SE to make a promise to their playerbase when there is always a chance that something does not go as expected and a proposed change has to be scrapped or withheld?

Seriously need alternatives to AK and WP. AK is boring like heck after the first 50+ times you do it. WP gear is not worth doing WP alot unless you grind AK till dust.

Now doing more WP as AK is too boring, alternating them like crazy when possible. AK->WP->AK->WP,etc. But if I want to watch a movie, while playing FF14 it is AK all the way... :P

I play like 2 hours a week to cap myth and clear turn 1-4....no point in logging on past that. I would advise finding something else to play.
