[EU] FINAL FANTASY XIV World Transfer Technical Issues (Oct. 15)

Currently, we are experiencing an issue with the FINAL FANTASY XIV World transfer service wherein World transfers cannot be properly performed due to character data not being obtained correctly.

The issue is currently under investigation, and new updates will follow as additional information becomes available.

Following the launch of the World Transfer Service, we have been experiencing a much higher volume of traffic than originally anticipated. This is creating difficulties in the retrieval of character data necessary for world transfers. In the event that you are able to successfully retrieve your character data and submit a request via the web form, your request will be placed in a queue for processing. However, given the current situation, players are unlikely to be able to successfully retrieve character data and utilize this service.

We are currently conducting investigations and preparing countermeasures to address this issue. Our current estimate for resolution is within 12-24 hours.

We apologise for the inconvenience, but we ask for your patience until the situation can be resolved and congestion levels decrease.

Also please note that given the circumstances, we will be revising the length of the free World Transfer Service period. Further details will be announced soon.
