    Make conjurer's Cure II usable for Paladins as well.

    Simple thing really, but right now there's absolutely no point to just having the first tier Cure on Paladin, at all.

    5000-6000 HP and it cures about 200 points of HP each cast for 133 MP.

    It's not worth the time or the MP costs for the amount it restores.

    The amount of HP cured was going to be dependant on base weapon damage at first i believe. Perhaps you can compensate for that by giving us Paladins access to Cure II as well. It's not going to fix anything, but atleast it will be used more. The 650 potency (Cure II) on it over the 400 potency (Cure I) is going to make it cure for 325 HP atleast, opposed to 200 HP from Cure 1.

    Not trying to start anything, or asking for a debate between tanks. Or saying one tank is better than the other. Or even that we "deserve this because of X".

    I'm just saying that Cure 1 is useless, completely, and never used even once past the starter levels. Cure 2 will still be pretty pathetic, but it will just be a little bit more of use.

    Really? I was still using it up till hitting 50. It is almost useless in all solo content, but it heals faster than things hurt me in solo play. I was able to kill things 5-6 levels over me because of cure while leveling up and it made sure I could keep myself alive through duties. Rarely did I ever get into situations where cure didnt outheal the damage I was taking.
    That said, in dungeons cure is pretty useless the only time it has come in handy was when some stuff went bad with a tonberry and the healer and dps died and spamming cure one till I was out of mana, and then getting some more mana and spamming it some more kept me alive until the DPS could take down the guy we were fighting.

    Wait you actually use Cure on a Paladin at all? I've seen Paladins with Protect and Stoneskin, those make sense, especially stoneskin as you can always throw it on yourself between attacks when tanking say a Hard Primal or something for that little added damage reduction, but Curing the Tank is the Healers job not the Tanks job. You're not a WoW Paladin that's made for both Tanking and Healing, you're a damage reduction buff Tank your job is to stand there and get hit and make sure you are always getting hit, not cure yourself or others.
    I can maybe understand if you're solo-ing a lot but that kind of defeats the purpose of playing an MMO, and even if you are solo-ing for some reason you can always just have a healer Chocobo, they're surprisingly pretty decent at keeping you alive.

    I guess Surian played PLD on the XI, I did too & when I saw the lolcure PLD have acces to I was as disapointed.

    Cure II is the CNJ's level 30 quested ability - hence why GLA/PLD doesn't have access to it. None of the quested abilities can be used cross-class. Yes I know SE could change that, but the point is, GLA/PLD have less of a need for it as this isn't like FFXI where curing was an essential component of hate generation.

    Because healing potency is directly connected to MND, and GLA/PLD have naturally low MND, therefore even if they could use Cure II/III no matter what curing spell you would have put on them they're not going to heal nearly as much as a CNJ/WHM would with the same spell (and therefore, far less hate is generated than it would otherwise have). GLA/PLD is about defense not healing. It's an entirely different beast.
