Please Get Rid of Post Limitations

You know that if you post with less than 1000 chars, you can then go back and edit you post and make it longer than 1000 chars

That's good to know, but the ~5 post a day nonsense still needs to go

If you get to 50, you can do 20 posts a day. If you want to post something more than 1000 characters, you can bypass the limitation by editing your post. Getting to level 50 takes as little as 20 hours but is more likely to take around 80 hours your first time if you aren't rushing. It isn't hard or even really time consuming to get to 50 and with 20 posts a day and no real character limitation, I don't see the problem.

As has been said these posting limitations were for a reason - in the later stages of the Beta test the Beta forums degenerated into constant flamewars/trolling (not just by new members but by existing members who should have known better).

So SE suddenly added posting restrictions around Phase 3 to try and restore some sense of order and decency to the Beta forum, and just kept the restrictions intact for the Lodestone following the game's official launch (in fact, the restrictions on the Beta forum were far stricter - you could only make a post once every 10 minutes).

As xRitzx mentioned, the 1000 character per post limit is easily worked around through editing your post, and it's not too hard to get to level 50.
