HQ Spruce Logs?

I am at a loss as to how to get HQ spruce logs. I have 303 perception, yet my probability of getting HQ is zero. I have tried using Leaf Turn, but my probability remains zero (which, I guess, makes sense since +10% of 0 is still 0). Am I too low on perception? If so, what do I need to at least have a chance of gathering HQ spruce. Please help.

You have an ability which when toggled on, will tell you the minimum perception to have an HQ chance. The abilities that give +% HQ chance are flat rates, not based on your current chance (i.e.1% chance + 10% ability = 11% chance), but they explicitly don't work if your HQ chance is 0%.

The poster means perception but the rest is correct, I believe you need 320 perception for 1% HQ chance.

Yep, 320 perception required for 1% HQ chance on unspoiled nodes. Unearth and Leaf Turn will not work unless the minimum perception requirement is met.

Don;t there tooltips state this? Pretty sure all the answers the OP is looking for are already right in front of them.
