WHM or SCH

I main SCH and love it (nothing against WHM tho) honestly SCH and WHM work so well together neither is better they both have flaws and strengths! I actually prefer SCH because I feel more in control of a fight as opposed to just feel like im healing any damage the grp takes or a dumb dps takes from not paying attention (trust it will happen and you will have to save their life but meh that's the healers job!)

SCH is a mobile healer and a monster single target healer making it the go to for keeping the tank alive in a raid so no matter your choice SCH will always have its place as a must have in any raid team (along with WHM of course) but SCH brings more than just heals, with a good SCH your team will take minimal damage even thru heavy damage spike times. To add to it all MICRO your fairy and place her well, then switch to dps with cleric's stance to speed thru trash mobs in dungeons or burn down boss fights!

I can't speak for WHM but my time as a SCH has been awesome!

Both. I have both and love them both. I play different ones for different situations.

Ignore the people saying that whm is "necessary" or whatever. SCH are great and getting better with every fix they make.

Totally agree, no one is ever "necessary", but with Titan a SCH-WHM can save the day XD
Well, I really love SCH and I will do it after BLM (swiftcast, you know), I'm WHM for now and I love both *^*

You need both. If you have one of each then its even better. The SCH bubble + the WHM AoE heals are amazing when it comes down to crunch time. I would think that SCH overall would be more enjoyable to level if that would help.

In the end, SCH is a little stronger at single-target heals, and WHM is stronger at area-effect heals.

WHM also gets better looking gear and you'll unlock a unicorn.

While I can't argue against the unicorn (I ride mine everywhere), I like the scholar gear much better

For me the honest answer is both. They are rather complimentary jobs and its worth it to level them both up somewhat concurrently in order to use actions from both.

Well, obviously having both is better, but I suggest to start from SCH, because WHM is extreeeeeeemely slow and boring to level up, and getting SCH first will grant the EXP boost that'd be great
Though i don't know if SCH is slow as WHM, but I don't think so.
