FFXIV and Mouse Buttons/Operations after patch

My Razer Naga 2014 was working perfectly before patch. Now it's seems to have some kind of delay when i move it around. And if i try to alt+tab to windows, My cursor becomes so laggy it takes up to 10 respond,and when it does, it moves very slowly.
If I close FFXIV, everything resumes to normal.


WTF is happening?

My in-game configs were not changed. I play with 1920x1080 borderless window with 2 screens(1 for windows and 1 for game).




Just what happened? LOL.


Last but not least, i can't seem to transfer.

I spent 3 hours this morning trying to get my Logitech G600 to work. I've updated my graphics drivers, uninstalled every mouse/keyboard software I can find (Logitech SetPoint, Logitech Gaming Software so far, looking at microsoft intellipoint(?) next).

I've tried everything, my G600 simply will not work with 2.05. If I use a $10 HID-only mouse I can get it to work but the dpi is so low on it that the game is very choppy.

I also noticed the game doesn't remember and lock your original mouse location when you pan the camera with right click, so if I hold right click and move my mouse to the right far enough I can actually get the mouse to go onto my second monitor. Also my camera move sensitivity has been reduced about 92%. I have to turn up my camera sens from 50 to 100 and then the same movement that would pan the camera 720 degress (2x360s) at 50 sens now only moves my mouse about 120 degrees at 100 sens.

I'm putting in a support ticket now, but overall the game is completely unplayable for me. I'm glad im not the only one.

Razer eh? I have a guildie who suffers from a lot of issues with his Razer. I couldn't tell you the model, but his buttons "stick" in game, sometimes he can't stop moving, other times he can't click things correctly. He had mentioned the latest firmware update as causing issues. May wanna see if you can roll back

I'm not talking about a razer patch, i'm talking about FFXIV patch.

And also, it can't be razer's fault since it's working perfectly on windows. Only when i start FFXIV that the issue happens.

I just hope this is recognized as an issue and get a response on this.

You can lock your mouse to the game screen. Its in options. That way it won't roll over to your 2nd monitor

And also, the problem is not locking up the cursor on game screen. It's the opposite. If i move it to the second screen, or if i alt+tab in the same screen, the cursor just stops responding. If i move back to the game screen, mouse speed works normally but camera rotation is somewhat slow. I doubled checked my configs to see if somethinh was out of place and nothing was changed.

I had an issue where I took my laptop home without the 2 external monitors and my naga would not work properly because I wasn't in full screen windowed. Not sure if you want to try that.

Ok i tested re-launching the game several times to see what happened.

All attempts were finished after logging into character and trying to move around.


On the 3rd attempt. Everything worked normally, then i closed the game and relaunched it, bugged again.

Now on the 8th attempt it worked perfectly once more so it's seems that the issue is related to something on game launch.

But it's annoying to have to launch this game a dozen times till it works. Please do something about it =/.

Has it been able to work for a significant length of time? I was able to get mine to work for about 3 minutes after 4-5 tries but while panning the camera in limsa it just suddenly lost all sensitivity and broke again.

How bad is the loss of camera panning sensitivity of you? I've lost almost all of it, to the point where I could not tank a dungeon without having to move my mouse about 2-3 feet to turn my character around.
