After running WP this morning I definitely think it's faster than anything else from a pure philosophies standpoint...possibly mythos as well. 100/30 every 17 minutes with a good group.

i think you're all forgetting you cap myth every week so yeah its nice to change it up.
I am VERY glad they moved the two story missions away from tome farming. I think it sucks that people running it for the first time are doing it in mass with people rushing through to finish up their DL.
Agree here. I'm still farming Philosophy and the cutscene hell of CM was getting on my last nerve. I can only feel sorry for the players doing the fight for the story and having to power-run it because people trying to beat an imaginary timer.
God, this annoys me. The word is right on the screen. They're Tomestones, not Tombstones. Tome. Not Tomb.

The irony when you end your comment with "inorite".Agree here. I'm still farming Philosophy and the cutscene hell of CM was getting on my last nerve. I can only feel sorry for the players doing the fight for the story and having to power-run it because people trying to beat an imaginary timer.

Nothing was healthy about groups powering through CM, consider how many fresh 50s have to do it in order to complete their story and have the experience ruined, or, ruin the experience for the more geared players who have to carry them. It's not even an elitest stance, it was just really bad to incentive running that dungeon over and over.ok so you have made 4 mans give the same amount of philosophy as the 8mans... why would ANYONE ever do an 8 man again? should have bumped philosophy up in prae/cast..
leave it where there are no mythology... but bump up the philosophy tombstone amount.. if not why both doing them? there just isn't a reason to now... in wp you have a chance at the relic req weapons so that's a decent cash source and then ak gives gear... why do 8mans at all anymore?
I think what they did was perfect, when i did CM first time, I spent half the time watching cs and i didnt know what was going on, it was no fun. they were nice nobody complained that I was watching cs, they said its upto me, and I thank that group for that, and I never force anyone to skip cs personally, because i never DF CM ( only go with relic group ) , but thankfully we dont need to do it anymore yayy...ok so you have made 4 mans give the same amount of philosophy as the 8mans... why would ANYONE ever do an 8 man again? should have bumped philosophy up in prae/cast..

now , new players can experience CM for what it is, a challanging dungen for main quest..
I for one am not excited about having to farm AK and WP over and over all week for tomes. I can only imagine the poor guys who had only AK to farm before 2.05, I just hit 50 recently and am about to start farming tomes. Even with CM and Praet thrown into the mix, doing nothing but those four dungeons literally hundreds of times over and over and over... I haven't even started farming and already I find myself helping people with Hydra/Chimera just to break the monotony. There aren't enough 50 4 man dungeons, and NONE that aren't for your story/relic... well, there's Coil, but I haven't got that far and don't know anything about it.
The lack of content is going to leave so many people burnt out so quickly. Just at the prospect of doing it I find myself wanting to level everything else first, until they add more content. The pacing is terrible as well, the Relic weapon is obtained WAY too easily. What is the point in having Ifrit/Garuda/Titan weapons when it usually takes 5-10 runs of them to get your weapon, when you only have to do them once each to get your relic?
I started out as a brand new level 50, and I got my relic in two days of light playing, without even knowing how to obtain it beforehand. I ran dungeons to level to 50 so I had enough Tomes to get the materials to make myself a Vanya robe of Healing, so I had that as soon as I hit 50. I also made myself Erudite's healing book, and had multitudes of rank III materia waiting for me because I didn't know which it took, and I spiritbond a lot. I got one or two FC friends to help me out with Chimera, Hydra, Ifrit and Garuda, pugged the rest, and did that all in a day. Then I was told I need 3200+ health for Titan, so I joined a group for Garuda and got my Scholar's book the first try. I slotted one rank III Vitality materia into all my jewelry except my Neck piece because it was a dungeon drop, and has no materia slots. The next day I did Titan in a Pug.
95% of everything I did was done the same day I hit 50, and I ONLY got Garuda's weapon because it was a requirement for Titan. There was literally ZERO need to go for Ifrit's, and I sure as hell won't be going for Titan's unless I can find a really good farming group. After all that I farmed Ifrit because I really love the way the book looks, and my friend wanted his weapon for the looks as well, but that is the only reason I got it.
Sorry for the rant, went a little off topic there. Of course I know a bunch of people will disagree with me, just because... You know, there are thousands of people here who will deny with hard facts and tell you you're wrong, or that your opinion is wrong, lol.
