Main scenario quest bug "Lady of the Vortex" ongoing issue (Almost 2 months!)

Do not just throw this post away to duplicate bugs without responding to me (since this is the only form of communication for bug reports). If you do send it to duplicate bugs please follow up with me.

Please, Please, help me with this. I have made multiple posts, and support requests, about this over a period of a month and a half+. This bug is completely hindering my experience; I don't want to have to unsubscribe to a game that I enjoy just because of a bug!

I have already tried all the past "solutions" in the past with no results. I've tried to fly different cities. I've tried to backtrack through the quests. I can't reset the quest. No matter what I do,the Ticketer simply will not give me the choice to access the area where Cid is located.

Gridania Airship Landing (Cid's Airship to Garuda Main Story Quest Bug)?

Time: 9/13/2013 - now
Frequency: Persisting
World name: Adamantois
Character name: Osaze Zazatuni
NPC name: Lionnellais <Airship Ticketer> and or Cid (quest Lady of the Vortex)
Monster name: N/A
Class/Level: Bard 50
Party or solo: Solo
In-game time: N/A
Area and coordinates: Coerthas Central Highlands
Steps:
1. Landed in the area behind the Airship Ticketer in Gridania
2. Was unable to proceed the Cids next quest due it being level 44 and I was only level 43
3. I gained 7 levels and tried to go back to Cid to obtain the quest through the Airship Ticketer with no option to do so nor anyone else in that area.

I don't see where it says you've abandon the quest, so I will ask. Have you? I too have been stuck in multiple quests including inside dungeons. Even though it was frustrating to start the quest all over again, it has fixed bug related issues. I also suggest looking for a main/side quest guide for a detailed explanation on step by step instructions for the quest. Some quest really don't give a hint on what to do next.

Anyway, abandoning the quest does reset it where cache's of information does get overwritten. You can also try running a check on your FFXIV files just in-case for any corrupted files and also basic troubleshooting like un/reinstalling.

I don't have the quest to abandon it; I would gladly reset my quests if I could. I thoroughly followed a guide to see if I missed anything since it has been a while since I got access to the quest and there is nothing that I am missing. Reinstalling my game might be a bit much. I doubt this is a client side issue but if that would resolve my issue 100% I'm willing to reinstall.

You can't abandon main scenario quests. The button isn't there.

Sadly..

Hopefully SE will add an abandon and reset button for the main scenario to circumvent issues like this in the future.

I called a GM today about it and they asked me to make a post here about it. I was hoping it was a bug that was going to be fixed in the 2.05 Hot fix patch.

I had this before. The ticketer will have the option with the quest name. Just click on that and it'll take you to the landing area again.

The rocketeer does not have the option to go there or the quest for us that is why we have this post here. We are past over 44 and there is not the option from the tickteer but thanks for trying to help.
