Update broke extra mouse buttons!

Hi,

I use the steelseries World of Warcraft legendary MMO mouse... I bought it as it had the right amount of extra buttons, 2 extra for the thumb, 3 extra on top and 1 extra on the right of the mouse.

Before this update it was working fine... I assigned single key's on the keyboard to each extra mouse button with the steelseries software supplied and pressing them ingame was just like pressing the assigned key on the keyboard!

However, since this update they are no longer recognised in game!

If anyone has a similiar issue of any advice to offer it will be much appreciated!?

Maybe you could try reassigning your extra mouse buttons to hotbar keys such as 1 or cntrl+1 in the mouse software program?Then just stick the corresponding action in that hotbar spot.

Whoa whoa whoa... Would that include products like Logitech's G510 and their gaming Mice? If so that was a crumby move on SE's part. This isn't cheating, i just assign keys i cant easily press while messing with WASD (#s 6-0, CTRL 6-0, ALT 6-0 etc.) to the G keys and mouse keys... boooo hiissss

They can work on allowing the 'approved' programs through, but this would prevent the majority of bots. I'm not sure if they did purposefully block your mouse o not but I approve of the primary prevention to slow bot progression.

My advice would be to get a Razer Naga since those still work.

Wow, I hope my Logitech G11 and g600 work. I can't go back to a regular mouse and keyboard.

Good, because I was going to be livid if my Naga didn't work anymore x_x

If it ever came to a point where I'd have to go back to being a clicker again, I'd rage so hard. I gave up being a clicker for a reason. I perform better with my naga keybinds.

I'd go with controller, but I didn't like the fact I had to change pages often for rotations and abilities.

I played this morning before work and my G15 and G500 were still working fine. I'm pretty sure I hit my autorun (mouse 4) at least once. Or am I missing something? Are you assigning the actions through the Logitech software or mapping them in game?
