First I could not reroll because of locked servers,

So i continued leveling my character in hopes of server transfers,
and now i cant even xfer to play with my friends since they are on non-legacy while im on legacy.

Everybody playing on a legacy server was given repeat advance warning that they wouldn't immediately be eligible for transfers to standard servers.

god inform yourself, it's not that you can transfer from a legacy server to a new one. its legacy player, meaning players that played 1.0, that cant transfer to new server yet. go sub and transfer and be happy.

No, you can create new characters on non Legacy servers or on Legacy servers that have character creation restrictions lifted. But.. you cannot create or move a Legacy character to a non Legacy server.

Character creation restrictions status for each server is reported and updated weekly in the launcher as well as on the lodestone. They lift the restrictions and reapply them regularly depending on the status of the server traffic. Expect server count to be erratic during the xfer phase.

Simply being on a Legacy server does not mean you are Legacy because they allow new character creation of non Legacy chars there and now xfers. You check your account status in your SE account page by logging in and checking your status as well as the info for the character, it will say whether or not you are Legacy.
Legacy players had to go through a specific line of objectives including having acquired Legacy status while subscribed to ffxiv 1.0 to get to that point.

It was your own fault for choosing a Legacy server when you could have rolled in any other non-legacy one, and yet you blame SE?

lol it was warned countless of times that Legacy server players could not cross over to non-legacy servers. You didn't read that? That was your problem for not being more informed when there was enough information about the difference between one and the other server. Get over yourself.

Or better yet, go ahead, don't sub, the more people that leave over stupid tidbits, the better.
