    Attribute Points

I know it's been posted before, but I can't seem to find it. Just how badly are attribute points (str, dex, mnd, vit, pie, int) broken? I haven't really done any testing on this.

Main reason I ask now, is when my thm hits 50, I'll be moving on to a meele job or so, and I know if this was working correctly I'd have to move points from pie/mnd/int to str/dex.

I really do hope that with the new battle system, the point allocations will become job specific. I kind of like the idea of character/job customization that the point system provides, but moving from a mage job to meele, or vice versa is very painful atm.

its actually really noticeable versus none at all, going from 41 to 161 str increased damage by 34% on mobs 6-22 levels higher than me. vit speaks for itself, and i havent done much dex testing

Hes not asking if dlevel is a big factor, hes asking if low stats will effect his performance by a lot, the answer is yes. Dlevel will basically take your performance via stats, and multiply the totall by some factor determined by delevel. But you ll still be noticeably weaker than some one with no stats at all of the same level.

There are basically stats discussion there as well and discussion of how rank basically effect everything and makes it seems like stats are broken (which they are not)

oh yeah, how much your stats can contribute, i believe they found out early that it is capped per rank, sooo theres no reason to go crazy with the stats if your low level. you can slowly move point over as you level your DoW

Also keep in mind that there are abilities you can buy with guild marks that basically shift stats over so that you don't have to shift as much via reassignment. I normally run DoH classes, so whenever I'm doing the others I usually stack some of these instead of reassigning.

Which, I think is what they intended, rather than everyone reassigning all the time, to be honest.

Up to 100 they work. Past 100, you're pretty much wasting your time.
I suggest that once you hit physical level 50, keep your dex, str, int, and pie at 86 and your vit and mnd at 80. Then use conversion traits and gear's innately appropriate stat boosts for the rest.

There is next to no point in getting over 130 of a given stat. There IS actually a big difference between 40 and 100 of a stat though.
