I need to get to Hyperion, if I can't... well, it's going to suck big time, I have to wait around for them to let me transfer to Hyperion.... Yuck, 5 days free and entirely pointless.

I was contemplating on going to a more crowded server, but then I compared the ups and downs...
Benefits to have a lot of people in a server.
1-More shouts to do stuff, group up faster.
2-More chances of finding an FC with a lot of active members.
The downside
1-Too much competition in farming, areas would be packed with people trying to kill the same stuff, never getting anything done.
2-Too much competition in the market
3-Perhaps lag due to overcrowded server.
I might just stay in my less populated server and have a chance to enjoy the game, there seems to be more negatives in being in an over-populated server.
For me getting both my characters to Excal, it is not a matter of choosing a populated server. I've got friends on there that want me to join up with them.
It's funny that everything they do with this game get's fucked up. Literally, everything. It takes them forever to fix any of these mistakes too. It baffles me that they didn't expect a shitload of us who got stranded on servers without our friends to want to transfer. On top of that, they don't fix the character caps so we can play with our friends? THE ENTIRE PURPOSE FOR THE TRANSFERS? Sounds like they need new management...AGAIN...
Why is there not a real queue system in place? There needs to be a queue for when the world is full and let whoever wants to transfer transfer. I have people who have been waiting to move to hyperion for weeks.
The fact that I can't move to play with my friends when Square-Enix has said that the entire point of server transfers is so that I can do so... just lol.
Your comment a bout why not make transfers one server at a time. The reasoning behind this is because if they did this those who are complaining in here would STILL be complaining if their server was not first and even more so if their server was last. You are always going to have those little cry babies that cant understand how a game works whether it be because they lack the brain power OR lack the will to understand so. I am sorry to those who are 40 year olds living in their basements complaining about the server transfer system being down but we are to blame just as much as SE. How many of you have been F5'ing the server trying to get it to work? This is counter productive to our goals and while it worked for some it is putting undue pressure on the server and in sense we are doing nothing more then breaking the system even more.
Has anyone been able to transfer to Hyperion yet? I'm on a legacy server so my options are limited and I want to get to my friends.
That's why I don't like the fact that Ragnarok is the only european legacy server. I got stuck on a JP server because of being there in 1.0 and 1.0 did not split the regions. But my ping was really bad so I had to leave this server for smoother gameplay today. I bet I'm by far not the only one in this situtation. So I guess Ragnarok will be crowded pretty soon. And as legacy player I had no chance to go on a less crowded EU server. But at least my ping is fine now and gathering feels twice as fast without any lags.
