Transfers are up!

I might just stay in my less populated server and have a chance to enjoy the game, there seems to be more negatives in being in an over-populated server.

That's why I don't like the fact that Ragnarok is the only european legacy server. I got stuck on a JP server because of being there in 1.0 and 1.0 did not split the regions. But my ping was really bad so I had to leave this server for smoother gameplay today. I bet I'm by far not the only one in this situtation. So I guess Ragnarok will be crowded pretty soon. And as legacy player I had no chance to go on a less crowded EU server. But at least my ping is fine now and gathering feels twice as fast without any lags.

Why is there not a real queue system in place? There needs to be a queue for when the world is full and let whoever wants to transfer transfer. I have people who have been waiting to move to hyperion for weeks.

The fact that I can't move to play with my friends when Square-Enix has said that the entire point of server transfers is so that I can do so... just lol.

Has anyone been able to transfer to Hyperion yet? I'm on a legacy server so my options are limited and I want to get to my friends.

Nope, can't trasfer to Hyperion, well, this sucks, stuck in limbo until whatever goddamn time they can let me transfer to Hyperion, i would have no problem waiting in a queue for 1-2 hours to log in to play really, but their server can't even handle a damn queue system.. lol.

Really, I hope they'll outgrow this technical infancy they're in. While they struggle having a queue system in place (yes, the queue type that says "you're number 2859 in queue, estimated time left 2 hours 23 minutes", while the server is chockfull with thousands of players) others are making region mega-servers..

Gah, I guess most people that want to transfer to Hyperion and other locked servers will not be able to profit from the free transfers at this rate.

If worse come to pass I'll transfer to Ragnarok and transfer paid to Hyperion at a later date.... if they let me, as it stands I don't see Hyperion ever unlocking to transfers.

I really can't believe SE didn't forsee any of this coming... no wait... they probably saw this coming, but decided it's better to sit back and watch the masses go crazy over their broken transfer system.

Haha I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. But alas, I may have been too optimistic.
I'm not using their service since I'm stuck on a legacy server, but wanted to see how the transfers went only to see almost 50+ pages of people having problems with the service. Le sigh.

Apparently I can only transfer from Gungnir and Typhon when I know I have characters in other servers that the Mog Station acknowledges are there, and the list doesn't change no matter how many times I refresh.

I see that Balmung is open for transfers, even if http://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...23e07acb3d22f6 says it's locked for character creation.

Well, here's hoping Hyperion will become available...
