Transfers are up!

It only took me three minutes to get my character transferred after my application was submitted. I just logged in to confirm and everything looks fine. No missing items or gil or anything like that. So don't worry about it taking days to transfer. It's just getting the application submitted that's the pain in the butt.

Okay, so I had one open in Chrome, two open in IE, one in IE and one in Chrome were under "maintenance" and then the other one I was able to F5 to death until my characters showed up. YES!

P.S. it was an instant transfer, which is nice.

in the last 15 minutes i haven't been able to refresh to the world selection..... but i was able to prior to 15 minutes ago....

multiple browsers and logged in/out a few times.

So I decided to give it a shot. It kept kicking me out with no characters available, then would pull up with worlds but no characters. It finally went through, but it only gave me the option to pick 3 of my characters. As a test I just transferred one of them (one of my many alts) from Fairie to Sargatanas. I received a confirmation it was complete, though I am not currently able to login. I will try again in a few hours when I have time again to check.

EDIT:
Finally checked back. The client froze at the server refresh, but a restart and everything is working! Woo! Log in... to a wall of tell rmt spam. Yay?

Of course now this character is stuck since I transferred to a legacy server. Here is hoping Sargatanas is a good choice for my Pugalist kitty

The whole idea of free transfers was so that people that were not to get on same servers as friends right? So when you are in a guild you have been in since 1.0 beta and you want a rl friend to join you they should be able to transfer to your server. But no they do not have any option to transfer to Hyperion. Why? May I suggest that you reinstate the world pass for friends.

Remember that transfers are restricted to worlds with character creation open. They closed a lot of them earlier today, Hyperion was one of them:

Yeah it's moves like that which make me wonder what's actually going on with the character servers. Friend ran through helpdesk earlier before the servers went live and was strictly told that character creation needs to be open, but people are still able to move there. Could be possible they've been lifted by now but not updated on the list? It's worth trying anyway.

I am making backwards progress, at first i was able to pick my server i wanted to go to, but could never pick a world my characters on, after refreshing over and over the server list finally changed to Durandal only.. so now i gotta keep trying to get the server I want back x.x
