Well... I'm giving up why can we create new chars in Excalibur but cant transfer?

Edit: managed to transfer my bf's char to Excalibur about 10 minutes ago. Thank you all for the support

Because SE hates already existing characters and want you to spend more time (which translates to: spending more $$$ on the game) with the game via creating a new one to farm EVERYTHING again. j/k

It looks like all of the servers on the "crowded" list on the transfer guidelines are locked to transfers, despite being open for new character creation.

They are, however there's many people who early in the xfer stage have successfully xfered onto said "Crowded" Servers, so we know that they were open, but are just arbitrarily locked at the moment. It's not like they haven't allowed xfers onto them at all since they started, which to me would be a completely different issue. The Transfers started out being tied to the Character creation block list, then after 11pm, when the list was updated showing a lot of them dropping off and allowing character creation, Transfers still weren't allowed. I'm hoping 4am's update changes that... maybe.

It's entirely possible they changed how they lock destination servers after things started rolling. Perhaps they saw the trend of tons of people moving onto already-crowded servers and locked them in hopes of not having those servers be totally overloaded; just because some managed to transfer onto them doesn't mean now or the future the same will be true, unfortunately.

Exactly, We don't know, but we'd like to know. They haven't changed any of the rules, or informed us of any change, and as there's a time limit to how long it is free, and many of us are waiting to get on a server with our friends, it's a little annoying that we're getting no word about it besides what seems a very Passive Agressive hint telling us to reroll instead, since Character creation is open, but transfers are blocked.
