Miners and Botanists received a noticeable buff to exp gains from gathering.

It's a small increase, enough to not be too noticeable until it starts to stack on you without even realizing it.

I logged in this morning to quickly test this.

1. Gathering xp has been increased per gather on a magnitude of roughly 45-50%. I was receiving ~830 xp for a chain of 4 gathers on my miner last night and that has increased to over 1200 xp as of this morning on the same nodes, at the same level.

2. I have not been able to test leves nor was I implicitly familiar with them prior to patch so I will not be talking about those. I would appreciate any feedback from those who are familiar to see what the new xp levels for the leves have been set at.

Overall your time to level for a gathering class has been cut by 1/3, so definitely a marked improvement on the grindy nature in just regular gathering xp alone.

An idea on how leves changed:

Level 40 leves are 20-30k base exp. Add 25% survey bonus onto that, and you can get up to 50k for one leve turnin. Pretty swank to get 1/6-1/7 of a level from one fieldcraft leve! I went from 38-43 botany over the course of 30 leve allowances so far.

That's Awesome! Where do you find level 40 leves? I haven't seen higher than 25 so far...

Today, I got from 25 to 28 (mining) in less time than it took me to get from 22 to 25 yesterday. Hell yeah, things changed.

It's increasing the XP gain gradually: from lvl 16 where increase is mere 4% to lvl 50 where increase is 59% resulting in average increase of 38% which (I'd say) is pretty large change.

40 are probably in Mor Dhona or maybe Coerthas. At some point the main cities stop showing the higher level leves because they're in those two areas.

Probably in Observatory which I can't unlock the leves with my lowbie adventuring (30)...oh well just have to collect ores and woods for now.

Leve hub for level 35 crafting/gathering class is Observatorium in Coerthas. 40 hub is White Brim (also in Coerthas west of Dragonhead). 45 hub is at the camp to the east of Revenant's Toll in Mor Dhona (forgot the name).
