"...players will be allowed to use the World Transfer Service free of charge from Tuesday, October 15, 2013, to Monday, October 21, 2013, 01:00 a.m." Even allowing for the gloriously underestimated (as usual) maintenance time of the world servers and the Lodestone, there STILL is not transfer service available. Considering the same article I quoted states we could be locked out of our accounts for several days while we wait, some of us have decided to err on the side of caution (always a wise policy if experience with SE is anything to go by) and stay up, waiting for the service to start because it is first come, first served and we don't want to spend "several days" locked out of a service we are paying for.

Seriously, SE, this complete and utter lack of communication and failure to deliver on commitments is getting old quickly.
