I'm glad. Maybe now people will spread out cause it's kinda sad seeing how empty the other areas that have Lv 45+ FATEs are.

The only other zone with 40+ fates is Mor Dhona, and there there are only a couple above level 45.

Being kind of a stickler here, but there are level 40+ FATEs in Western La Noscea (the Sahagin area), Southern Thanalan (The Amalj'aa area), Outer La Noscea (The Kobold area), etc.

These areas are usually devoid of players though, so it'll be just you and maybe one other person if you're lucky. There is a nice chain of fates in the Sahagin area that people seem to always be around for.

Where did they say they were fine with it? I know they said they were fine with people doing FATE grinds, but that's different from the nerf here. I would say it brings the FATE more in line with other FATEs no?

There is a dev post (or whatever you want to call it) in the thread calling out people "exploiting" DD by farming the mobs. The dev said it was completely fine. Would find the quote but lunch is over.

They clarified that the way people were doing it wasn't "exploiting" and you weren't at any risk of getting in trouble (since that was the topic at hand).

However they never said, or gave any indication that they would continue to have the FATE operate that way. Sure, it kind of sucks, but it's also not the end of the world. MMO's change. Shit gets nerfed and buffed constantly. Get used to it.
