Is 1-20 Too fast?

I don't think the sp grinding is that bad, the main problem is how you make leve link groups and I do miss experience camps and chaining. Shouting in ul'dah shows that something is wrong, noone uses the party recruitment/search, my leveling has been somewhat lucky and mostly linkshell based.

The system in xi was perfect, I thoroughly enjoyed being able to search for everyone flagged in my level range and sending tells before an invite to anyone inc jp/hk etc, it was a much better system because the person who decides to make a party is the one who should be talking to people seeking directly explaining exactly what they have planned, you are unable to do this until people join or are directly in front of you, the is no back and forth comms before people join which is just wrong and leaves me sitting there fustrated waiting for people to join, it just isn't working IMO.

This is also my biggest frustration with xiv atm.
