I have -never- got the ideal behind this. There is no problem whatsoever with skipping trash mobs if it is possible.

From common sense, they changed it because people were skipping these "trash mobs" meaning they were not playing the game the way it was intended, meaning it is somewhat like a form of cheating.

1. act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage, esp. in a game or examination
2. avoid (something undesirable) by luck or skill.
Synonyms for cheating: avoid, escape, evade, elude

So yes, it is a form of cheating by avoiding mobs that were never meant to be avoided.

So every time I avoid a mob in some random high-level zone I'm cheating? Those mobs are designed to attack on sight, and here I go deftly evading them to save some time on the run to my destination of choice. I'm a cheater and I never knew!

They are whining because they love hardcore and painful grinding. That's Japanese MMO for you. Japanese gamers loves grinding endless hours... You wonder why most hardcore gamers are always Japanese who always ends up in the leaderboard?

Clearly is was a mistake to make the best source for farming phil tomes in two story dungeons. This has been a big point of contention. Now that WP and AK give 100 phil tomes, there is really no need for speed runners to do CM or Praetorium, and those playing the story can do so without harassment. This seems to have been the main point of this change. Besides, AK is faster simply because it doesn't have so many cut scenes to skip.

I really don't care. The fact that now you can get 100 phil in AK made CM irrelevant.

CM is now for newcomers who want to sit around and watch 30 min cutscenes.

...which is what CM should've been in the first place, being story dungeon and all.

Yes but I figured people would go back to CM after capping out on myth for the week. Since even with the changes it's still faster then AK.
