So yeah as we all know general discussion is pretty much the hub for all the whining and complaining people can possibly think to say but I'm pretty impressed with people this morning. Hot fix came out fixing what people have been complaining about. Wp is now a viable way to get philosophy and mythology tomes, ak gives more tomes, and the dungeons more than compensate you for your repair bill. Great things right? No! All I read is oh no they took away my cheat on the first boss so it will take longer to kill or what they didn't raise the cap on mythology so I could get all end game gear in two weeks BC I powered leveled and ran out of things to do or just am bored in general and getting some gear will fix my boredom! I'll be the first to admit I power leveled to most people's standards since I was level 50 within the first week of the games release but I either find something fun to do in game or go out of game. ( sorry got off topic) anyway this was a hotfix everyone!

Most games don't even let you know a hotfix is coming BC it's not a content update. It's simply hey we thought this was a good idea but realized it needed tweaking so bam we fixed it. When patch 2.1 comes out yes complain all you want about how easy the new content is and how SE doesn't understand how to tailor a game for just you but believe it or not alot of people struggle with this games content ( shocker I know /sarcasm). I mean honestly when did the gaming community become this group of whiny brats? I still remember when if there was a challenge people would go beat it with no hesitatio even when it took hours and hours to do. Now all you do is try one run and are like nope there is no way to beat this guy unless we cut half the team. Or even better people who are all up in arms BC ak and cm take slightly longer now to beat (5 to 10 minutes). When I played wow in cataclysm a dungeon took a minimum of an hour for less rewards respectively and no one cared BC that's how MMOs are.

Idk guess I'm old fashioned (@22). Sorry for the long rant but this is a wonderful game filled with what feels to be the dregs of the gaming community. Would it kill everyone to help new people be they new to the game or just a dungeon? And for new people to accept help without taking it as a personal insult? Thank you if you read all of this if I could give a prize at the end I would. Just chill everyone it's a game have fun! Now let the trolling on my post begin!!!

I left wow a long time ago BC it was cartoony and way too easy this game is pretty and the mechanics are more interesting. This game is the best one out there imo

Honestly, when you read the forums you'll see 98% of the threads are negative. There's probably a lot of great players probably just playing the game and bypassing all the filth presented on MOST of these threads. Gaming should always be fun so the negative threads I read are usually just for a good chuckle.

This^^^. The negative threads are created by people that have absolutely nothing else going on in their life. No video game can get me as upset as some of these people are. Real life events are what can rattle my cage and I work through them.

I liked the patch. Ever since the patch my time in Queue has been non-existant. (It was really low as tank anyway but still, this is really nice.) My AK parties have been a real pleasure since people are no longer going straight from Casturm Meridianum to Amdapor Keep because AK was the only place to farm Mythology tokens effectively. Now people go from CM to Wanderer's Palace so they can get both weapon drops and a good amount of philos and mythos and it's easier for them too.

Also, people who do Casturm no longer have to worry about getting screeched at in parties any more for watching Cutscenes. No one in their right mind would go there again after the changes.
