Grand Company Quest question

I started playing with some friends this weekend and from what I've gathered we are almost far enough to choose our grand company.

Of course we want to play together as much as possible, so now we're wondering how much impact that choice has on the game as a whole.

Will it just change a few quests every 5 or so levels (like the class-quests so far) and aside from that leave the other quests the same or does it have some major impact on the games questlines?

Grand company really doesn't change the story or anything, they require similar quests to rank up(Finishin hunting log chapter, clear Dzemael darkhold, etc etc), the only thing it changes would be the look and style/color of armor(You and your Chocobo) & weapons you can get from them.
I'm pretty sure all the Supply and Provisioning is the same as well
