Holding onto the past will cloud your judgement and to be honest it's annoying to see "I miss this and that from 1.0". Thing must change to stay fresh, do you really think GTA would be as popular as it is if it stayed how it was in #1?

I don't see how having the same music or allowing people to use that music is "holding onto the past". GTA is popular because halfwits think running around stealing cars and beating the crap out of people is fun. I much preferred the older games.

That is a rather illogical way of thinking. Video game designers and music composers are two different things. A lot of horrible games have great soundtracks. It'd be like hating Lalafells because they were in 1.0.

It is not a way of thinking it is a feeling and it is certainly not the same thing. Do you ever get nostalgic when hearing music? I do, and for some reason when hearing 1.0 music rather than getting nostalgic and getting good feelings I get the opposite. The music in itself might be good, I might have liked it if I just listened to it without playing 1.0, but as is I associate it with 1.0 and it gives me bad feelings and as such I don't want to listen to that music. I am very happy they have changed most of the music.
