    Log In Fail/Unable to Complete Version Check

    After tonights maintenance, I am unable to log in. After typing in my account name and password, I am presented with this screen.



    Any advice? Did something update wrong?

    There is an update going on right now, maintenance for hotfix patch. Lodestone maintenance is also to follow.
    [NA] All Worlds Maintenance (Oct. 14)
    At the following time, we will be performing maintenance on all Worlds that goes along with the patch 2.05 HotFixes. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn will be unavailable.

    *This maintenance will implement a client program update as well. Booting the client after the patch release will automatically update the client program.

    Oh thanks guys. I didn't think maintenance was till going on. Usually when I log in and its still going on, it says so.

    It is a bit scary seeing this error most people are seeing it right now, myself included. when errors like this popped up in other mmo's it ment your install was likely corrupt and required a reinstall. im seeing that that's not likely the case. at least i hope it isn't.

    If you're the impatient type, try every 30min or so. I'm gonna wait until the last 30-45min before I try.
