Camaraderie Through Combat [New PVP Preview Vid on dev blog]

This is the dumbest PvP promo video I've ever seen. Everyone standing still, both tanks smacking each other for zero damage while the DPS duke it out and the healers just stand back and do their thing.

That being said, I'm still looking forward to the actual PvP itself. It's my favorite thing to do in most MMOs and although I have no delusions that ARR's PvP will actually be any good, it should still be an interesting little diversion.

Tbh, I hope their Frontlines thing is more akin to Ballista 2.0 because I really enjoyed Ballista both. I liked that I could both participate in matches or if I was running through that zone, watch them.

As for 4x4- eh... well it just looked like standard arena matches... XD
What I tell myself about the promo is that this *is* SE we're talking about so they have to make sure to show off how shiny everything is first which includes showing the zone, the players and then the PvP itself.
The reality of the 4x4 matches hopefully going to be much different. I anticipate fairly quick matches like less than 5min per match since as many of you pointed out, nobody is actually that slow or organized in actual PvP. XD
