Races you would like to see added in the future

Well, in concept with the FF Online Series, there probably won't be any new races, Ever... Although it would be kinda cool to be able to play the sylphs from the story. Or to have the Empire come out as an opposing faction you can play as for the pvp element to the game. Or to be so famous that you have your own personal moogle that gets your mail and manages your retainers for you in the field, as well as gear repairs. Would also be nice to have 2 person magitech mounts with built in repair vendors. Would be even nicer if they released an engineering crafting class that could do ALL repairs and build magitech devices like grenades, guns, bullets, repairing, mounts, etc A Vanity Crafter!!.

Imo we need a solution to IN Dungeon repairs ASAP.

They're adding in a race already, its being made as we speak.
They'll end up selling Phials of Fantasia and making a MINT off the people that want to swap to the new race, instead of making new characters.



Ronso, I think would be a nice addition though personally. I'd like something beast-menish.

8000 people on a server. Very few, maybe even less than 100 would actually bother being a real furry. No thanks.

Self Righteous are we? Playing a video game character implies sexual inclinations towards animals now??

This is a fantasy world, this sort of thing is simply cannon. These are beast-men tribes. We're not looking to prance around Ul'dah screaming "Murrrr, :3" and start the first 'Yiff Yaffers Yaught Club' Free Company.

That being said, there's no denying it won't attract that sort of crowd, that's just how it goes.

The argument here, regardless of whether it'd be Wolf, Bear, Dragon, Reptile or Mormon race, the development team wanted something with human qualities, but completely different from that of the other races (hence why the discussed about adding a playable beastmen race). Leaving my suggestion completley on track with what the development team mentioned they wanted to do.

How is it blasphemous? This isn't FFXI, there's no issues with having male/females of all the races in this MMO. I'd frankly rather see both male and female miqotes running around than a deluge of catgirls, yuck.

I wouldn't mind a winged race, especially if it can jump higher, or fall farther without injury.

I recommend. Midgetfell. Size compare vs a lalafell, as a Lalafell compare to a Roe.

Tailor made for ppl that want to play cute races or just want the game to be harder because they are so hard to see.
