@ Gadenp - This game is very casual, I have no issue with that, they are releasing CT as the first real raid and it's coined to be a casual raid. Coil was promised to be content for the veteran raiders ("Pro Gamers") looking for a real challenge, and it's definitely not, that's the issue. FFXIV failed because the game was all around terrible, and it definitely wasn't too difficult. I'm actually happy with all of this game but I would love to see "Extreme" Raids along side the casual raids, and have those "Extreme" raids drop unique gear to give some reward/diversity for the hard work it takes to clear. I'd love to see some raids with really epic fights like Kael/Vashj/Illidan/Greenscale/Yogg/M'Uru/etc. I'm talking raids that take 1-3 months per boss on average to kill, not 1 week per boss, then clear in 40 minutes every Monday. I think SE will eventually deliver something like this eventually, but we can try to get them to push out content a little faster by showing our support for more content.

@Lunavi - Definitely agree, we should have casual content and hardcore content, but I definitely want them separate, no normal mode hard mode BS like in other games please. I don't agree with your distinction between casual and hardcore though; hardcore players (IE Raiders) just dedicate more time and effort into an MMORPG so they can compete to clear content against the rest of the world, a casual player plays to have fun at his/her own leisure. Agreed, gear is only a means to get that accomplished feeling, I could care less what my "gear score" is as long as I get the satisfaction of killing internet dragons. The only way gear would mean anything to me is if it were very unique and made me stand out from the crowd of dark light. Bad players have skill, they just need to develop it, and you can gear up someone easily, it's the willingness to take criticism and improve yourself that makes a truly great raider.
