Why does it take a minimum of 2 weeks to get 1 piece of Myth Tome gear?

Why have they set it up so you're just under the amount to get the cheapest Myth Tome gear, i.e. accessories?

Don't you think it's a little insane that you have to wait 2 weeks to get a ring or a necklace? Why didn't they set it up so you at least can get 1 reward per week. I understand they have to pad out content by creating these arbitrary restrictions, but c'mon, 2 weeks to get 1 accessory piece is a little insane.

Because you're supposed to be using it to flesh out what you get from Coil.

Consider that myth tome gear is equivalent of raid gear and that when raiding with lockouts you're only likely to get 1 piece of gear a week if you're lucky... it matches up pretty evenly.

It's a cap that will eventually increase -- of this I am sure (alternatively: prices for items may eventually drop). They just don't want to let people gear 'too quickly', otherwise there will be no point to running Crystal Tower or even looking for gear in the Binding Coil of Bahamut if your AFv2 gear is better.

Not really. I think it's fair to have myth drop outside of coil because it provides a viable option for decent gear for those who just don't want to do Coil. Don't want to do Coil? Then take a bit longer and farm for AF2. At least it provides you an alternate option, even if that option may take longer, due to weekly myth caps.

I do not see your point if you are saying I'm one of those people? You think giving free gear out for spamming an easy dungeon is challenging and not "aiding" the lazy masses of people who dont want to get gear the real way?
