AFK'ing and Leeching in Dungeons - Castrum Meridianum

Is there any hope of us getting a "VOTE-TO-KICK" system implemented in this game at any point? Because out of the last 6 CM runs I've done, I've had 3 ruined by the TANK standing at the entrance and going AFK to Leech easy Tomestones of Philosophy, I've had healers in full crafting gear telling me to; "Go f*ck myself" when I ask them to change because their gear isn't spiritbound yet, and just 2 decent runs without issue!

A Vote-to-kick system would allow groups to remove the AFK/Leeching player and quickly replace them so that the dungeon isn't ruined...so that after waiting upto 45minutes you don't just get a 1k gil repair bill and another 45min wait without at least some reward!!!

Because IMO sitting AFK at the start of a dungeon is taking advantage of the fact that a group cannot kick you, and is therefore exploiting an in-game system for free loot, which would technically be cheating...is this correct?

Report AFKer's & abusive players. They will be banned. I have already seen 2 people that I reported for similar stuff get the hammer.

i'm okay with people watching the cut scenes. but in my case this leecher's just keep watching the cut scene till the last boss's finished and then he went to the exit

I don't understand the problem here. If you are running CM for a speedrun, you usually shout for members with the intention of speed running. If your intention is to speed run, and you go through Duty Finder, you'll reap what you sow. Likewise, if you are running CM for the first time, or just really want to watch the cut-scenes again, and enter a speed run party through shouts, and then watch cut-scenes, you'll, again, reap what you sow.

I'm just not sure how both groups of players could ever mingle together in the first place, and then complain about each other.

This isn't about cutscenes.

This is about, literally, someone who joins and stays at the entrance for the ENTIRE RUN. Not just to watch cutscenes. Yes, people do this. Yes, it can be reported, and you should be doing that.

No you haven't. AFKing is not against the rules. Additionally, bots that have been PHYSICALLY CAUGHT by GM's, are only getting 72 hour suspensions. No one is getting banned for anything right now.

Actually, it is. Interfering with other players progress of the game is against the TOS. You're definitely impeding them or at the very least slowing them down quite a bit.

Actually, you're wrong.

I have personally noticed that people I report for AFKing in those runs end up disappearing from the Lodestone, as if their characters were getting deleted.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you shouldn't be perma-AFK in dungeon runs if you want to keep your account.

And yes, I'm a stalker. I look up people on the Lodestone when I run into baddies in the DF, ever since I got told people's characters get deleted when they get permabanned and it's the best way to tell if your report accomplished something.

Joining a dungeon and then going AFK for a hour is against the rules.

Now mind you, going AFK for 5-10 minutes due to an emergency isn't. But any longer and you should really consider just bowing out instead of screwing your group over one body.
