I am nearly at my wits end. I've recently had to reformat and reinstall everything on my Harddrive. The Previous time I needed to install FFXIV (on the launch) I ran into the same problem. However that was solved using a torrented version of the game. The torrent is not updating the launcher properly this time so I'm at a loss as of what to do.

Every time I use the downloaded launcher (from the official site) it installs just over 1.4 gigs of information then errors out. "a problem occurred while updating" [111006][20641][20643]
I am running windows 7 64bit Completely up to date.
I have port forwarded everything
I am running it as administrator
I have turned off my firewall
I have disabled the two programs that start on windows startup (nothing else is installed on the comp yet)

I have even used a torrented version of the game to try and get this to work. (a beta 4 version was what i used before to get around this problem and was the best i could get that wasn't completely sketchy this time.)

Upon running the ffxivboot.exe it attempts to update the launcher version (2013.09.10.0000.0001) and fails with an "unable to patch files" [11005][20815][20866][19900][5]

I have no idea what to do next, I'm angry that the only way to get your game to work is to go through a bunch of workarounds. I understand that there are many things that come into play when launching a game but this is weeks after the initial launch and the things are still mucking everything up. I'm using a common OS with standard settings, this is a fresh install with no extra programs installed yet.

Currently I am downloading the entire directory from a friend to see if i can just plug and play, however I still expect help from your team to get your game to work (not exactly feeling too hopeful that this will fix it at this point).
