Between me and a couple of the other leaders, I don't think there's ever been a time where someone not in all of the LSs is on. We're pretty good about forwarding requests (that aren't immediately filled up/taken care of) on to the other LSs.

How do you promote communication between the several linkshells when not everyone is subscribed to them all? Do you just have members pass along requests and relevant messages? Or are they isolated?

We have several leaders who are in all of the shells and the FC who help to coordinate between them when people are looking for groups. They are also isolated to an extent, but quite often one linkshell alone easily fields 4 mans. Each Linkshell will have over 125 people when full, so usually they are very active on their own, though we do work to help people find groups across them all as well as the FC which now has over 125 people too. There are some overlapping people for the FC and Linkshells, but overall we probably have access to a bit over 400 people now.
