    Byregot's

I recently hit 50 CRP to go along with my BSM/GSM/ARM and I'm trying to work out a good rotation to get the most out of Byregot's (mostly on 40 durability crafts). I'll be leveling more crafts for the rest of the abilities but for now is there a rotation I can use with my current abilities to get a significant quality increase out of Byregots?

Depends if you want to avoid Hasty Touch or not. I'll assume you have or are willing to get any/all of the 15 abilities from the other classes since they're easy enough to get. If you're okay with playing with RNG, there's two HT methods I can think of off the top of my head.

First is Waste Not > Steady Hand (II, if possible) > HT x 5 which should put you at 5 durability. Manipulation into (depending on CP) SH > Touch > Great Strides > Touch > Great Strides > BB > Finish the craft. I generally found that reasonably reliable for the 40 Dura crafts while leveling when I didn't quite have the control/abilities (like Innovation) to get an acceptably high quality bar without Hasty Touch.

Second would be to just use Steady Hand (II) > Hasty Touch to 20 Durablity > Manipulation unless 1 or 2 steps left on SH, then HT to 10 is fine as you'll Manip > SH which'll give you the first bit of Durability back. Planning to Manip at 20 also means if Excellent pops you can just hit it without breaking the craft compared to if it popped up at 10 durability. Grab CP from Tricks of the Trade as it comes up. Depending on your CP, you'll likely be able to Manipulation twice (if 50, unlikely if using BB while leveling other classes that still have a lower CP pool) before Great Strides and finishing the craft.

If you want to avoid HT, a loose framework I use is SH > WN > Touch x 3 > SH > 2 GS/Touch (one being BB, of course) > finish. Room for grabbing CP from Tricks of the Trade here and there as well. If you would use that CP on upgrading the first 3 touches, then it's better to just use a touch on the Good condition instead. If you'd use it later then you can grab one while WN is up. You could also Great Strides before the second SH (risks Excellent popping up before you have SH up) which gives you two steps after the second Great Strides to fish for a Good/Excellent to use BB on via Observe. If you have even more spare CP, you could refresh SH and GS and then Observe until you need to BB.

The two Hasty Touch methods have room if you don't have the craftsmanship (leveling, etc.) to one shot the craft, whereas the non HT method loses a lot of its usefulness if you need two synthesis steps.

Yeah everything is at 15, except Culinarian, but I'll be PL'ing that up in the next 2 days. I'll give that third one a shot until I get it up, thanks for the tips!

If Inner Quiet, Great Strides, Steady Hand, Advanced Touch, Great Strides, Advanced Touch, Great Strides, Advanced Touch, Synth is not cutting it for me, and I want to include Byregot's at the end of a 40 durability recipe, I need to eat some CP food, but here's my method :

Inner Quiet, Tricks of the Trade (if available), Steady Hand 2, Waste Not, 4 Hasty Touch, Tricks of the Trade (if available), Hasty Touch, Tricks of the trade (if available), Manipulation, Tricks of the Trade (if available), Steady Hand 2, Waste Not, 4 Hasty Touch. That leaves me at 20 Durability, with (assuming no ToT) 19 CP left - thus the need for food! Byregot's at the end of that, without horrible Hasty Touch luck, should see you well on your way to 100%. I'm running at 287 CP though, to start, for my crafting classes that are under 50, plus the effects of any food. I need to meld 5 CP into my gear somewhere ...
