Why are Gil Sellers and Bots not being banned?

I just want to know why my Blacklist keeps growing and my Notepad list of known botters auto-harvesting keeps growing daily, and yet I still see ones from day one.... not deleted, not banned, and not restricted.


What is going on ?

I mean.. I know the first week or 2 would be like "eh... were working on it" but.. seriously... it's nearly a month now and the Market EG. The Economy is starting to suffer greatly from all these ill gotten goods flooding it.

Those that have SE experience before know NOT TO buy anything Bots harvest (due to Sticky Effect "Web Bans") for fear of getting caught in the detection net, even if your intentions were good or you never botted yourself.

Sadly though, it's getting to the point where some items are just needed in bulk - and of course the only ones who have been doing NOTHING BUT GATHERING THEM to get them in bulk, are those doing so Illegally. (with third party programs to bot/harvest)


So.... when are the MASS BANS going to happen? It needs to be sooner, rather than later, because more and more and looking into bots to get items for themselves, and more and more are starting to BUY the ill-gotten goods off the market for use, because... well face it, mining up 3K Lightning Shards is boring as hell.


So why aren't these flat out -obvious offenders being removed from game, along with their ill-gotten goods?

When is all my effort and TIME taken from my GAMEPLAY to REPORT THEM going to finally pay off and get some satisfaction that they are gone?

These botters are a way bigger issue than RMT's.

Banning RMT's is great don't get me wrong, but all it does is remove some Gil from the Economy. What they need to be doing is removing these botters who are selling stuff on the market place as this is an infinite source of Gil to them. I've reported 50+ and they are still there, still selling their ill gotten goods, which in turn is suppling the RMT's Gil to sell.

Cut the snake of at the head. RMT's can't sell Gil if they don't have any source, at least reduce their possible sources. The fact alone that they spam selling Ice/water/Fire shards etc is a dead giveaway that this is where a lot of their Gil is coming from.

It's not that easy. Gold spammers use stolen account to spam (mine for example last weekend). So it's not just "ban them and problem solved", it goes far beyond that (and that's also from where they get the gil and fire/water shards).

Also, this stuff usually comes with patches. Just a cyclic thing that happens at all new mmorpgs.

I am more talkin the bots themselves. Your account stolen is fishy as well - what exactly have you done to leak your info? That kinda stuff. Don't share here, nor feel the need to defend, but 90% of "stolen" accounts are Owners Fault, in every game.


The issue is I've seen this botter go from level 1 mining to level 43 mining over the last few weeks. All this is telling me is "give up reporting, nothing gets done" it's also telling a lot of other players "go ahead and use third party bots, nothing happens"

I know this is the WRONG thing to think.. but you lead by example, not by words.
By not banning these bots - not only are the bots spamming the market with shards and god knows what else - but they are also making the Gil for the Gil Sellers to advertise, because believe it or not - most of those sites are legit to a degree, they really mean to sell you in game currency (just how they get it, and who they hurt doesn't matter to them)

It's all a big illegal scam to get players REAL MONEY and use their accounts they KEYLOG to keep their business going.
