No name was actually mentioned in this thread, so excuse me for not knowing the parser you are referencing.
Why not just use a parser like FFXIVAPP?
I am referencing FFXIV-APP and it is mentioned on the previous page, and does hook a function in the ffxiv process and does *NOT* parse log files as some people suspect. If you'd like further confirmation, go into the settings of the app, you will see two options under the heading "Current Process ID"; "Refresh process list" - this is so the app can actually find the instance of ffxiv to hook(if you're multiboxing), and "Attach selected process" - should be relatively self-explanatory.
FFXIV App most certainly does hook the ffxiv process.
